Headlight covers.

Agree with Charlie. No need. And at least use an example of someone who put a modest effort into the headlight covers. That is the ugliest I've ever seens that done.

Done it with bolts as Joe said or make a couple of aluminum "U's with legs" to fit on the inside and rivet. Just as quick just as cheap.

Also, question. I thought we couldn't even tape up gaps around the lights (to avoid aero mods). Much less block off with new construction??

2700 weight

No.

Joe what you are trying to do is PCA Club Racing. Stock car (sorta). Interior. Tags for the road. Seriously.

These cars are easy to get to 2600 with no money spent unless you have to pay for the labor to remove all the stuff. I have no lexan in the car and did not strip it. Have a passenger/coach seat and still need about 50lbs to make weight.

And my custom cage came mail order from Hanksville.

Oil cooling fan

Thought somewhere in another thread was mentioned they were legal (already). If not then yeah make em legal. Gotta buy a cooler with fan or a bigger cooler. No difference.

Agree. It can be done, but it still doesn't look as good as the aluminum covers. In addition it's certainly not a performance advantage. So why not?

There already a cheap, effective, easy way within the existing rules:

Whether it looks better is subjective. It looks different, more like a RaceCar! Sure. But I don't know if it looks 'better'.

Still pending my question about the aero aspect? Anyone?

The aluminum headlight thing currently does not fit within the rules because you cannot block off the seams.

It will create cars that look different from each other and that does not fit in with the Spec944 intent.

I just dont see any benefit to this, only negatives.
