I have two 944-spec cars, this one is up for sale. This one held the lap record(1:56.2) at Infineon until Jim Foxx came along and bettered it. I built this as my backup car, improving things where I could. The car only has about 4 race weekends on it. It has one or two minor dents and is black with silver doors.
1984 non-sunroof chassis(lighter and stiffer) with low mileage motor and wiring from an '88 924S. I managed to spin the #2 rod bearing despite it being low mileage and had the engine rebuilt by Art at AutoPoint Motors who builds many of our Norcal motors. Good trans with factory LSD. Rear suspension from the '88 924S so cookie cutters fit perfectly with no spacers. Custom roll cage by Tony at TC Design.
8" 350lb springs on ground control coilovers in the front and 30mm torsions in the rear. Poly bushings all around. Freshish Konis all around. Hollow M030 sway bar up front with the 19mm 3 hole sway bar in the back. Camber plates and strut bar up front.
