Politics and back-stabbing. Not quite sure where it came from, and I suppose it doesn't really matter, but our fingers just got slammed in that door. We weren't even proposing anything drastic or very controversial... hell, we hadn't even proposed anything to the group yet. The status quo benefits a select few, who don't want to change or compromise a damn thing, so many of us have been pushed out. Looks like some will stay in 944-Spec and the rest of us will be running our own deal and points within PTE, where these asinine politics are irrelevant. Break ups suck, but sometimes you're just forced into that situation.
Not fair for us to ask Chuck to continue to get crapped on for trying to stand up for what's right... We see him get nothing but grief and misrepresentation anytime he supports even the idea of fixing things.
So, as you said, what's done is done. Nothing personal, just doing what we have to do. At the end of the day, it's little more than an amateur hobby that's supposed to be fun.
