Clarification on size. Are we running 225 or 205 Ra-1?

Thumbs down on the 205s handling is just about all we've got with the 44 why give up any grip?... I know that's what SM but not worth the small cost savings...

What about stating the MAX width as 225/50s, if someone wants to set their car up for 205s to save $$$ they can...

11. No need for this. We already have a choice of two.

12. See above.

13. See above.

14. Hey this one makes sense. I like it. Even though I don't like new rules I feel this one is needed to cover the guys who don't race alot and still have good R888 tires.

I like this one...only because I have a couple sets in storage. I don't think it is fair though as it's an unfair advantage to the early cars (already with the cookie cutter advantage and there are not many Fuchs available.

How would you manage this? There are so many brands of wheels etc this seems like it would be impossible to make sure compliance is there

13 205/50 R15 RA-1
Spec tire is 205/50 R15 RA-1
This would make the series even more affordable. Plus with the number of BMW/Spec Miata guys, they are more plentiful, the suppliers always seem to have this size on the shelf for immediate ship. They look alittle small but performance is pretty close right? If we were going for "looks" I'd be racing a 911 (going broke doing it)...I'm up for saving as much on tires as we can.

Godspeed on killing the 888's as soon as possible.

You guys know my thoughts on the 205's. To further add weight to my thoughts, try and find a set of 225/50-15 RA1's today. I am hearing January 15th+. 205/50-15's are everywhere and will ALWAYS be available as they are the most popular size. Not only that, wait till you guys see the 2010 pricing, you are going to regret not making the switch. BUT, I will go with whatever you guys choose, only kicking and screaming briefly.

Wheels, stay with what we got.
Tire allowance...RA-1's only for Natl's! This is the only way. I will NOT consider making the trip out their if there are two tires competing.
