11.4 Radiator
Any radiator may be used provided it is mounted in the factory OEM location without modification.

This has long been an issue for me... the rules clearly allow us to buy a high performance aftermarket radiator for big $$$, but we can't pick up a simple used 951 radiator for a reasonable price because it requires a slight modification to the radiator mount on 944's.

I think the benefit of allowing affordable radiator choices outweighs the theoretical advantage that someone might try to gain by lowering their radiator's center of gravity by maybe an inch (besides, plenty of us have already unintentionally ended up with mangled radiator mounts anyway).

fender flares for the 924S in the rear to achieve maximum track width as long as they use a 944 front end to negate aero advantage? Though I probably would put that last in my budget (meaning never).

If you can proper graft on stock 944 rear qtrs to go with stock 944 front qtrs you are good right now.

Yeah it is more work.
