I have a GoPro Motorsports Hero camera and it comes with small stick on mounts (the actual camera itself is very small and light). I just put a mount on the top of the dash out of the field of vision. Since I can reach the top of the dash I can turn it on right before leaving grid and after the checkered flag so no wasted minutes sitting in the pits or on the cool down lap. Plus the camera is pretty cheap to buy and they now have a wide vision one.
