TOPIC: Shift light

Shift light 10 years, 10 months ago #17150

I am looking for a shift light. Sounds simple? What I am looking for is a shift light that can have two settings. 1 color for shifting at 5800 RPMs and a second color for if the RPM drops below 3500 RPM.

I want the blink for normal shifting and the second is a reminder if I need to blip the throttle when down shifting during braking.

Can someone recommend a shift light in general that works? I'm having issues.

Here is the one I have. It is adjustable on the back.

I plan on getting the Ecliptech Shift-I progressive shift light. Its low profile and multi colored so you can mount it on the dash over the steering wheel and centered so you always have it in your view. Havent heard any negative reviews from it.

Tater, I just posted my video from Saturdays race where you can see the Shift-I in action mounted on my dash. I didn't have it fully setup, so it wasn't using the mode that I want to use now, but it should work well for you and so far, I love it. There is also a pure shift light function so it'll only blink all lights whenever you reach your shift point.

Even though it comes from Australia, I got mine in about 5 days and the guy that makes them even went out of his way to email me saying it had gotten held up at the local post office due to the snow storm.
