There is a less expensive way to ship but I can not tell you just what it is. When RacingMetal ships them, the shipping cost is only about $35.

Perhaps someone that has purchased one from them recently can tell us who they use to ship theirs out, when they have them.

The only thing I know of is Greyhound but the reliability is a little sketchy.

Charlie, I did some digging as I could have sworn that the CCR addressed this, but you are correct - if it used to, it doesn't now.

I'd recommend a 3/16th windshield, and a center brace, though that may be overkill. The SCCA requires a brace for 1/8th" Lexan only. I mounted some spacer blocks to get the windshield up close to flush. Leave a little room for the windshield to grow if possible, as they do change size in heat pretty significantly.
