I removed the 50lbs of headlight mechanicals but haven't figured out a way to reinstall the covers...any suggestions?

Most people that Ive seen have taken some some strapping material and rivetted into place in four spots around the perimeter of the cover (not to the hood).

I didnt have time to go to this extent before the last race so I just left the cover mounted to the headlight cage and zip tied the cage down.

Aluminum strapping, vise grips, and some hardware is what I used.
