First off, thanks for the input Eric.
Second off, in the midwest we dont worry about "big junk", we have quality "enduro equipment"

Ok, back to professional mode....

Yes, because because it has to go all winter.

It took all of a few hours for this thread to go bad

Nick,
I've heard Eric talk about you and your shop/crew before. Good on you. It really helps build the class when we have local shops supporting the cars and keeping the grid numbers up. But you're going beyond that. You're actually building more cars.
At CRE, we're also making our own minimal wiring harnesses. Just 3 wires to the rear of the car. Fuel pump, fuel level sender, and brake lights. The only chassis wires up front are the coil, fans, and thermister. BTW, we're getting 70 cents per lb for the removed wiring! We recycle everything!
Thanks for your support of the class.

Let's keep building it!

Um..that was my cracked engine. And yes, Nick and Matt busted ass to get that new rebuild into my car on Friday night for the next day's race. I was in the trailer with them and the bugs were awful. We were swimming in flies and mosquitoes, thick as molasses. The install continued until after midnight, when a fellow racer that was camping asked us to shut off the generator.

Thanks Bennington.

Dropped off my car at Bennington tonight - made for 15 944's on premesis. Here's one building:

Matt does some really nice TIG welding there:

Nick and Matt are definitely the man (men?)! They've done a fantastic job of taking care of #84 for me and making it reliable and competitive. Seriously, if anyone needs a reference, drop me a line. I could go on and on.
