Chuck,
What "change" were you refering to in the RMR email?
here is the email I sent to the rmr.
"We have some information on the R888's but we need solid data if we are to make a change. I need to know how many heat cycles you get from each tire and when it seems to drop off in performance." ( i then linked to this thread)
I do not think i said enough so yall kind of caught a part of a different email. when we (RMR) switched to the R888 we thought it "felt" faster then we thought it did not seem to last as long as a RA1... all of this is fine but at the end of 2009 we will be able to make "changes" to our rules. This rule "change" period is what i was talking about. So we need data to say if the R888 is better for 944-spec or is a different tire in our future.
I hope that makes it clearer ... or ask me in March.
WE ARE NOT CHANGING TIRES IN 2009
