944Fest has teamed up with the NASA Southeast Region to host their South event on June 4-5 at the historic Road Atlanta. This should prove to be an amazing week end full of 944 enthusiasts from all over the South and even other areas as far away as Illinois! It will also be an awesome opportunity to promote the class and recruit new track junkies who could start on the path to becoming a fellow racer.
Saturday evening activities will be at Atlanta Motorsports Park, about 30 mins away from Road Atlanta. We will conclude our race on Saturday at about 4 PM, then move over to AMP for karting, tech sessions, and a banquet. These events are paid for separately from the NASA registration and can be done at the 944Fest website posted below.
This will be a double points race in the Southeast Region, and a few extra contingencies will be given away for this race only, based on finishing position.
