First off, these things are fast.....ran a 1:44.5 at PCA Road Atlanta this weekend and there was certainly more in them.
Now the bad....
Two tires developed a delaminating band around the outside edge, almost a cording look but they had 10 heat cycles and were not worn at all. Right side rear had developed a split at Roebling three weeks earlier so they were swapped and it "healed" itself. Unfortunately a split occured much much deeper which I would say cannot be healed. At least I won't go out on the tire.
I was absolutely anal retentive about making sure everything was mounted and bolted up properly. Pressures were all well in specification Camber was 2.5F/2.1R Toe at zero front and rear 1/16th. Didn't write down date code but I bought them from Tire Rack in December.
Ambient temperature was about 50
10 heat cycles to failure seems premature. Split occurred on Passenger side rear both times.
