As an update, I got everything together and the height was right the first time! I even have some room to lower it a bit, if I ever need to.
I really appreciate the great write-up that Joe P. put together years ago - it's the gift that keeps on giving.
I do have one suggestion for the procedure. When the rear suspension is out, make sure the banana bar is compressed and all slack is out before taking the banana bar to centerline measurement. Also, I taped a string between the centerlines of the axles to get an exact reference point. This was extremely helpful.
On to Roebling Road this weekend. With the suspension work finished, I really am beginning to feel that this car could come together. Just have to learn how to drive....
