Great event, without carnage, and much fun. Some great racing. A 20 car inverted grid! Videos to come - it was awesome!

I really enjoyed the 4th race.
Here's my in car video:

I had fun running around all weekend. My parents (their first NASA event) commented on how friendly, helpful and professional everyone was. They were quite impressed with NASA and 944 SPEC.

No Hallett for me, but I'm really looking forward to the newly paved Pueblo!

Great video! Nice move to the front with heads-up driving - you were running in1st for a good long time! Some great action between the 12 & 15 minute mark. You can see Dirks and I go side by side. Watch the mirror around that time as Dirks and I battle - pass, repass, side by side down the esses - great stuff!

I'll get my video up soon.

After some technical difficulties...

Success (mostly)! I can't add my comments, but converting it to a Divx file allowed it to run. Vimeo does MPEG, but that file is corrupted in some way. Even my camera can't read it's own file - time for a new camera!

Anyway, the video is here:
https://vimeo.com/43067917

Here's what supposed to be in the comments:

19 944 Spec Cars
2 Spec Miatas
1 fully inverted start
No 944's were injured in the making of this video

Driver: Eric Kuhns - visiting the NASA RM Region for the first time from the Midwest.
Started P20, finished P3
Red #76 - David Dirks started P21, finished P1

Forward to 2:05 to see a beautiful field of 944's forming up for the start.
The whole race is worth watching, but the action really starts to heat up about the 9:45 mark.
I catch the eventual winner at 11:20. A great battle ensues, with a pass, repass, and side by side action from 14:40 to 15:40.

David : Likewise! It was great fun meeting and racing with everyone form the RM region.
That weekend was great, and how it should be in 944 Spec racing. Congrats to the RM region for being the first regional event to earn the big Toyo bucks payout!
