TOPIC: Looking to do some travelling in 2012

Re: Looking to do some travelling in 2012 12 years, 10 months ago #12459

Well, Feb 4th is not only my daughter's birthday, she also has a gymnastics meet, so that is out. Autoclub might be doable. I went there last year, but it was not a crossover with the Az guys then. Are a lot of the Az guys making the tow out there?

The Feb 10th weekend at Infineon may be doable. How's the turnout there?

Hi Eric,

Feb. traditionally has not been a good turn-out month because it's rainy season so it's a hit or miss.
So far it's been uncharacteristically dry this year.
How about Mar. 10-11th at Infineon?

Here are our Infineon dates excluding Feb 11-12.
Mar 10-11
Jun 16-17
Sep 29-30
Oct 27-28

The March weekend is an on-call weekend for me. Tough to switch, though not impossible. Once the local race season starts in April, it's tougher to squeeze in the time. I'll look into these options, thanks for the input!

I think the Feb weekend this year will be pretty well supported. I think we'll have Jerry, Ron, Jim Foxx, and me at least - maybe Ken. If you have two more guys, that's a pretty healthy field. Normally there are lots of garages available that weekend for only $50/bay that can fit two cars so weather won't be too big a factor to the enjoyment of the weekend.

The Autoclub event on the Az schedule is the same So-cal event as last year. The only difference is that it is a Az cross over. Frankly speaking these can be hit or miss in terms of Az attendance. If you want to attend and Az event then Firebird, Inde or Chuckwalla are probably they best.

Here is the full Az schedule.
