I ran into a guy yesterday who has a '83 white 944 who is building it into a DE car. I told him all about spec 944 and NASA and he sounded pretty excited! He may end up racing with us someday. His car already has the Autopower cage, or maybe it was just the bar.
Anyway, he has a '86 long block missing the water pump and a few other things but mostly complete but with a spun #2 rod bearing. He said he might just give it away if anybody is interested. I have his number at work if you're interested. He's in Grass Valley but I can pick it up for whoever wants it.
