How about a dessert for 10?

Norm, I am bringing my carbon fiber walker so I dont get too tired walking uphill from T5-T8.

I am worried about Foxx though, he might need assistance

I am estimating that the potluck will be between 20-25 people. We have 14 drivers and guests so I might be low on that count but figure some will go out to dinner or the Nasa BBQ.

My plan is to get there just before 5pm Friday.

If possible we should try to set up the 944 compound so we have a large space between a couple of motorhomes for us to gather, do our potluck and tell lies about how I almost passed you in the Corkscrew.

If you have room for a small folding table bring it as well as a chair for everyone in your group.

Really looking forward to this event, Laguna is a great track with enough room for some great side by side racing.

I have a small table to contribute, and I'll have some chairs

It's 108 at my house right now and forecast for more of the same so I'm looking forward to mid 70's of Monterey!

By the way, we have a system in NorCal of starting all former/current national and regional champs 1/2 lap down with a 100lbs penalty. Also the NASA ccr's say that if your name starts with an F and ends with XX you will penalized 2 laps in lieu of future on track incidents!

It's been 110 in Sedona for the past several days, we are leaving tonight around midnight to miss the really hot places between here and the coast. Pavement temps are reaching 170 in phoenix where temps are over 120.

We will get dessert for at least ten, I will hold up the back of the walk with Jim, between the two of us, we should make it back by the first practice session.

I plan to be at Laguna on Wednesday with Hooked On Driving, anybody else going?
So we will be in Monterey from Tuesday night till Sunday. Will get to the track early Friday to try and hold a section, where would you NorCal guys like to be?

Norm you should have recieved an email with the schedule, track map and paddock layout.
The 944 paddock is right at the track exit at T10.
I will forward the email to you.

Rd I dont think a 1/2 lap is a safe distance for you. I will still hunt you down like the NorCal dog that you are.

Now the Foxx penalty that has been adopted Nationally (and that I campaigned for personally) has been a big hit in all regions.
