The Thunderbolt car wasn't insulted because it's a car.
If you imagine cars having personalities and can talk then Thunderbolt would be laughing and saying which of you other 944's ran the 25 Hours?
You can have the decals mail to me.
Sid is our resident expert in applying decals but he can't make this race.
Basic technique to applying decals:
1. Clean the area where the decal will go.
2. Get a spray bottle and mix a little liquid soap with water, if the temperature is cool then soap is not necessary.
3. Use a fine mist setting and spray the area with the water solution.
4. Slowly peel off the decal backing and spray the back of the decal to prevent it from sticking to itself if it's a large piece.
5. Lay the decal onto the area. The water solution will allow you to slide the decal around and position it.
6. Once you have it position, spray the solution on the top of the decal. This will act as a lubricant when you use a credit card or something similar to squeeze the water out of the back of the decal.
7. Work from the center of the decal out to the edges.
8. Normally you just let it dry off in the sun. You can help it with a hair dryer if you are careful.
I can make it to dinner Thursday, can't Friday.
Greg will be flying in Friday and meeting me at the warehouse to pick up the cars and head off to Infineon together. I'm sure he would like to go out for dinner Friday.
NASA will be providing their BBQ dinner Saturday.
See you next week.
