Any Tucson(preferably) or Phoenix parts dealers or shops wanna help me build this thing into a Spec '44 racer? (SCCA and NASA)

Welcome, a few questions/suggestions...

What do you have and what state is it in? How much work and how much work are you planning to do on your own? How much track time do you have do you plan or are you jumping right in?

You can get on track fairly easily with the basic safety mods, cage ,harnesses, FE, battery disc, after that it's all a state of tune and competative level...that's all a personal thing. You'll see cars at all different levels or in different states of development...

Not many shops on this board. Most Az guys do alot themselves, but farm out the bigger jobs. So simple stuff like stripping the car as a backyard job. Engine rebuilds can be a shop thing. Jim Flucky at German Auto in Phoenix has beeing doing alot of good work on these cars.

Some of us a just DIY the entire thing. I am one of those guys.

So how much work do you need done?
